Teevees Seek Analog Signal
Oakland, CA
2009

Farley Gwazda gave me two little teevees, so I gave them each an RC car chassis. They had just enough strength to putter around my studio, tethered to each other and their skateboard-truck-equipped power strip. On June 12, 2009, the United States ceased to broadcast analog television signals. Since then the teevees have remained still: the only feed they can get is each other's. They were brought on display in Spring 2010 by David Mahfouda at Proteus Gowanus' Transport Phase 2.
